Retroperitoneal Fibrosis CT Findings
- Paraspinal, well-demarcated retroperitoneal mass
- Irregular and isodense to surrounding muscle
- Begins near aorta and iliac arteries and can have significant extension
- Hydronephrosis is common due to involvement of ureter

Etiology:
- Unknown
Epidemiology:
- Male to female ratio of 2:1
- Most often occurs between 40-60 years of age
Presentation:
- Dull abdominal pain and/or legs
- Discoloration of the lower limbs
- Swelling of one leg
- Hydrocele
- Anuria
- Back pain
Prognosis:
- Most cases are benign with excellent prognosis after treatment
