- Typically invades the renal vein and IVC
- Necrosis common

- Typically asymptomatic

- Flank pain
- Palpable mass
- Weight loss

Prognosis:
- The 5-year relative survival rate is about 39%
- Median overall survival is about 25 months
- Since renal sarcoma is so rare, the true prognosis is unknown
