Hodgkin Lymphoma CT Findings
- Enlarged lymph nodes
- Central necrosis
- Variable enhancement
- Homogeneous
- Lobulated, round masses
- Mesenteric lymph nodes encase the mesenteric vessels (“sandwich sign”)

Other Information About Hodgkin Lymphoma
Etiology:
- Unknown
- Associated with Epstein-Barr virus
- More common in patients with HIV and other immunocompromising conditions
- Familial history of HL increases the risk
Epidemiology:
- More common in males
- Bimodal: typically presents between ages 20-40 or after age 65
Presentation:
- Palpable mass
- Fever
- Malaise
- Anorexia
- Weight loss
- Pruritus
- Night sweats
- Cough
- Dyspnea
Prognosis:
- The 5-year relative survival rate for all Hodgkin Lymphoma is:
- Localized: 93%
- Regional: 95%
- Distant: 84%
- All SEER stages combined: 89%
