Regenerative Nodules CT Findings
- Well-defined, enlarged area of the liver parenchyma
 - Micronodular (< 3mm) or macronodular (> 3mm)
 - Lesions are commonly vascular
 - Typically not visible on unenhanced CT
 - Can simulate tumors including hepatoma
 

Other Information About Regenerative Nodules
Etiology:
- Budd-Chiari Syndrome
 - Hepatic vascular disorders
 
Epidemiology:
- More prevalent in patients over 60 years of age
 
Presentation:
- Generally asymptomatic
 
Prognosis:
- The prognosis varies depending on the cause of the generative nodules
 - Nodules alone can be managed
