Embryonal Sarcoma CT Findings
- Encapsulated soft tissue mass
- Solitary
- Multiseptate
- Hypodense mass with hyperdense septa
- Usually large, > 10cm
- Typically displaces the bowel
- May have debris
- Can mimic a necrotic cyst

Etiology:
- Unknown
Epidemiology:
- Typically presents between ages 6-10
- Very rare but documented in adults
Presentation:
- Abdominal pain
- Palpable mass
- Fever
- Nausea and/or vomiting
- Weight loss
Prognosis:
- Embryonal sarcomas are malignant
- The estimated survival rate is around 50-70%
