Hepatic Lymphoma CT Findings
- Soft tissue attenuation mass(es)
- Hypovascular
- Usually solitary but can be multiple lesions
- Can be homogeneous or heterogeneous
- May have hemorrhage and/or necrosis
- May have rim enhancement
Other Information About Hepatic Lymphoma
Etiology:
- Unknown
- Associated with liver diseases
Epidemiology:
- Rare
- More common in males
- Typically presents after age 50 but can present at any age
Presentation:
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea and/or vomiting
- Jaundice
Prognosis:
- The 5-year relative survival rate is about 85%
