Hepatic Lymphoma CT Findings

  • Soft tissue attenuation mass(es)
  • Hypovascular
  • Usually solitary but can be multiple lesions
  • Can be homogeneous or heterogeneous
  • May have hemorrhage and/or necrosis
  • May have rim enhancement

Other Information About Hepatic Lymphoma

Etiology:

  • Unknown
  • Associated with liver diseases

Epidemiology:

  • Rare
  • More common in males
  • Typically presents after age 50 but can present at any age

Presentation:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Nausea and/or vomiting
  • Jaundice

Prognosis:

  • The 5-year relative survival rate is about 85%
