Small Bowel Hemorrhage CT Findings
- Diffuse or multifocal
- Circumferential thickening of bowel wall
- Thickening can be varying length
- Most common in jejunum
- Best seen without IV contrast

Etiology:
- Angioectasias
- NSAID use
- Crohn’s disease
- Polyps
- Ulcers
- Malignancy
Epidemiology:
- Can present at any age
Presentation:
- Hematochezia
- Melena
- Anemia
- Dizziness
Prognosis:
- The prognosis depends on the cause of the hemorrhage
