Castleman Disease CT Findings
- Usually classified and unicentric or multicentric
- Unicentric: a solitary, noninvasive mass
- Multicentric: a dominant mass with involvement of surrounding structures
- Hyperdense to isodense lesions common
- Enlarged, hypervascular appearance of involved lymph nodes

Etiology:
- Unknown
- Linked to HIV
Epidemiology:
- Rare
- Affects males and females equally
- Age range for Castleman disease is broad, typically from the 4th-7th decades of life
Presentation:
- Unicentric Castleman Disease (UCD) is asymptomatic
- Multicentric Castleman Disease (MCD) may present with fever, night sweats, weight loss, and fatigue
Prognosis:
- Prognosis after surgical resection is good
