Menetrier Disease CT Findings
- Typically seen in body and bottom of stomach
- Localized or diffuse lesions
- Thickening of gastric mucosa and mucosal folds
- Delayed emptying
- Twisted mucosal folds

Etiology:
- Unknown
Epidemiology:
- Rare
- Typically presents after age 30
- More common in males
Presentation:
- Epigastric pain
- Fatigue
- Weight loss
- Anorexia or early satiety
- Nausea and/or vomiting
- Diarrhea
Prognosis:
- In children, Menetrier’s is usually spontaneous and resolves on its own
- In adults, Menetrier’s is usually chronic and shortens lifespan
