  • Endoluminal growth pattern
  • Ill-defined border
  • Prominent enhancement of overlying mucosa
  • Diameter ratio greater than 1:4

Etiology:

  • Unknown
  • May be congenital

Epidemiology:

  • Typically presents between the 4th and 6th decades of life

Presentation:

  • Typically asymptomatic
  • Abdominal pain and/or distension
  • Dyspepsia
  • Nausea and/or vomiting

Prognosis:

  • Ectopic pancreas is benign
