  • Thin walls
  • Well defined
  • 0-15 HU
  • May have epithelial lining
  • May be solitary or multifocal

Etiology:

  • Congenital

Epidemiology:

  • Common
  • Typically presents in 4th-8th decades of life

Presentation:

  • Typically asymptomatic
  • Abdominal distension
  • Abdominal pain or discomfort
  • Nausea and/or vomiting
  • Palpable mass

Prognosis:

  • About 95% of liver cysts are benign
