Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) CT Findings
- Low-attenuation ascites
- Soft tissue implants with rim-like calcification
- Visceral scalloping
- Omental caking
- Implants on serosal surfaces and cavities
- Can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract and/or the ovaries
- Usually secondary to appendiceal tumors

- Very rare
- Average age of presentation is about 48-53 years
Presentation:
- Abdominal pain or discomfort
- Abdominal distension
- Constipation
- Hernia
- Anorexia
- Nausea
Prognosis:
- As PMP is so rare, the true prognosis is unknown
