Gardner Syndrome CT Findings
- Osteoma(s)
- Cutaneous epidermoid cyst(s)
- Osteomas and cysts most commonly affect the head and long bones but can occur on any part of the body
- Polyps in the stomach, colon, and/or small bowel
- Desmoid tumors are reported but uncommon

Other Information About Gardner Syndrome
Etiology:
- Aberration of the APC gene
Epidemiology:
- Rare
Presentation:
- Palpable tumors
- Hyperdontia
- Multiple colon polyps may cause symptoms such as diarrhea, cramping, GI bleed, constipation, or rectal pain
Prognosis:
- There is no cure for Gardner Syndrome
- Patients must be monitored early to catch and remove colon polyps before becoming malignant
