Polysplenia CT Findings
- Situs ambiguous
- Features of left isomerism
- Multiple spleen in RUQ or LUQ, single lobulated spleen, or normal spleen
- Anomalous position of abdominal viscera
- Short pancreas
- Abnormal bowel rotation
- Cardiovascular anomalies

Etiology:
- Congenital
Epidemiology:
- Rare
- More common in females
Presentation:
- Abdominal pain
- Respiratory distress
- Nausea and/or vomiting
Prognosis:
- Polysplenia itself is benign but may be associated with malignant cardiac complications
- Because of associated complications, most patients do not make it to adolescence
