Etiology:

  • Genetic variant that occurs sporadically

Epidemiology:

  • Rare
  • Typically presents in infancy

Presentation:

  • Port wine stain
  • Seizures
  • Headaches
  • Developmental delays
  • Glaucoma
Prognosis:

  • Symptoms can be managed
  • Sturge-Weber affects quality of life but does not affect life expectancy
