- Well-circumscribed mass
- Dural attachment with or without tail
- Hyperdense
- Homogeneous
- Hyperostosis
- Calcification

Etiology:
- Unknown
- Associated with NF2 and radiation therapy
Epidemiology:
- More common females
- Typically presents after age 60
- More common in people with African ancestry
Presentation:
- Typically asymptomatic
- Headache
- Seizure
- Impaired vision
- Hearing loss
- Unilateral facial weakness
- Unilateral facial numbness and/or tingling
- Most meningiomas are benign but should be resected to prevent complications
- The 5-year relative survival rate for adults is about 85-90%
