Lipoma CT Findings

Superficial lipomas are small and well circumscribed, while deeper lipomas are more variable in shape and size
Low fat density
Between -65 and -120 HU
Many lesions have thin internal septa
Larger lesions may have linear striations
May be hard to differentiate lipoma from liposarcoma
