- May involve multiple vascular segments
- Aneurysms (single or multiple)
- Dissections (single or multiple)
- Occlusions (single or multiple)

Etiology:
- Genetic mutation
- Can be hereditary
Epidemiology:
- Rare
Presentation:
- Hypermobile joints
- Stretchy skin
- Prone to bruising and cuts that take longer than normal to heal
- Fatigue
- Joint pain
Prognosis:
- There is no cure for EDS
- Patients with EDS can live relatively normal lives with no change in expected lifespan
- Traumatic injury and physical activity may be more life-threatening to a patient with EDS than one without
