Aortic Transection CT Findings
- Usually secondary to trauma
- Usually occurs at the level of the ductus region
- May have associated adrenal or spine fracture
- Mediastinal hematoma is common
- Active bleeding may be seen

Presentation:
- Usually found on imaging follow-up to trauma
Prognosis:
- After aortic rupture, mortality rate is over 90%
