  • Unknown
  • Having a family history of PRAD increases risk significantly

Epidemiology:

  • Common
  • Typically presents after age 50
  • More common in people of African ancestry

Presentation:

  • Hematuria
  • Dysuria
  • Nocturia
  • Frequent urination
  • Hematospermia

Prognosis:

  • The 5-year relative survival rates for all prostate cancers are:
    • Localized: >99%
    • Regional: >99%
    • Distant: 37%
    • All SEER stages combined: 97%
