Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) CT Findings
- Vessel connecting the main pulmonary artery and the aorta that is patent
- Calcification at the site of the PDA is common
- Communication best seen on MPR and 3D images
- Flow may be from aorta to pulmonary artery or pulmonary artery to aorta

Epidemiology:
- Infants born weighing less than 1000-2500g
- Infants born at less than 26 weeks gestation
Presentation:
- Asymptomatic
Prognosis:
- Treated PDA has a good prognosis
