Lung Anatomy: Segmental Anatomy
Click on the horizontal lines below to see CT correlation of the 10 bronchopulmonary segments of the lung. Tertiary bronchi of the lungs supply each bronchopulmonary segment. Branches of the pulmonary artery are located near each tertiary bronchus. Tributaries to the pulmonary veins are intersegmental in location, and are also useful in helping to identify the boundaries between segments.
