LAD off RCA
Left Anterior Descending Coronary Artery arises off of the Right Coronary Artery. LAD travels anterior to the Aorta and Pulmonary Artery as it courses to the left heart.
Axial CT shows that the left anterior descending coronary artery arises off of the right coronary artery.
Volume rendered image shows the left anterior descending coronary artery coming off of the right coronary artery. The LAD can be seen emerging from under the right atrial appendage and traveling anterior to the Aorta and Pulmonary Artery before it settles into the anterioventricular sulcus.
