CASE NUMBER 71
Diagnosis

Arachnoid Cyst (Subdural Hematoma)

Note
This patient had a known arachnoid cyst and presented with worsening headaches, nausea and vomiting. On imaging we see a subdural hematoma over the left cerebral convexity contiguous with the region of the arachnoid cyst previously demonstrated in the left middle cranial fossa, with associated midline shift. This may be seen as an uncommon but described complication of arachnoid cysts.
