CASE NUMBER 59
Diagnosis

Subdural Empyema

Note
There is a new subdural collection over the left cerebral convexity in a patient who had a meningioma resected several months prior, complicated by wound infection necessitating bone flap revision. There is restricted diffusion throughout the collection with prominent rim enhancement. The diagnosis of subdural empyema was made and at subsequent operative evaluation a large amount of pus was drained.
