Developmental Venous Anomaly

Note
Linear vascular enhancement is present traversing the left frontal lobe on this study performed to evaluate the patients known right parafalcine meningioma. The superior portion has a medusa head appearance, draining inferiorly into the deep venous system, consistent with a developmental venous anomaly. Although not seen in this case, these lesions are frequently seen associated with cavernomas.
