CASE NUMBER
13
Diagnosis
Colloid Cyst
Note
There is a circumscribed T2/FLAIR hyperintense mass in the region of the foramen of Monroe with no appreciable enhancement and intrinsic T1 hyperintensity compatible with proteinaceous content. This is most consistent with a colloid cyst. Transependemyal CSF flow is present with enlarged ventricles, representing acute obstructive hydrocephalus secondary to the colloid cyst.
