Small Bowel Obstruction on X-ray
Note
Patient with severe of abdominal pain. Abdominal x-ray, flat and upright demonstrates air distention of the small bowel. On the upper right x-ray, small bubbles of air are seen in a “string of pearls” distribution which is characteristic of small bowel obstruction.
