Portal Venous Air on X-ray

Note
Patient with severe abdominal pain. Tubular radiolucencies are seen in the right upper quadrant within the liver (arrows). This is an example of portal venous gas on abdominal x-ray. Portal venous gas can be seen in patients with intestinal ischemia.
