Myxopapillary Ependymoma

Note
There is an enhancing mass centered in the body and left ala of the sacrum. Several enahncing nodules were additionally seen along the cauda equina nerve roots. This was a histopatholigically known myxopapillary ependymoma with recurrence after initial resection. This is a relatively uncommon but described presentation of this type of lesion, which otherwise classically are centered in the region of the conus medullaris, cauda equina and filum terminale.
