Diagnosis
Left MCA Stroke.
Note
Diffusion weighted imaging demonstrates restricted diffusion throughout the anterior portion of the left middle cerebral artery territory. There is thrombosis of the left cervical internal carotid artery with diminutive flow within the left cavernous internal carotid artery and middle cerebral artery. Perfusion-weighted imaging shows decreased perfusion throughout the entire left middle cerebral artery distribution, concerning for ischemic penumbra.
