Hematometrocolpos
Note
Young patient with an enlarging pelvic mass. MR images demonstrate the uterus, cervix, and vagina distended with T1 and T2 hyperintense blood products, with no apparent enhancement on the post-gadolinium images. This is a classic appearance of hematometrocolpos, in this case secondary to an imperforate hymen.
