Diagnosis

Focal nodular hyperplasia

Note
Patient with incidentally identified liver lesion. MRI images demonstrate a mildly T2 hyperintense and mildy T1 hyperintense mass in the liver. The lesion demonstrates a well circumscribed contour, is avidly hypervascular on the arterial phase, and is essentially isointense on the venous and delayed images. The lesion demonstrates a central scar which enhances on te delayed images. This constellation of findings is diagnostic of a benign FNH.
