Burst Fracture L4 on X-ray and CT
Note
Trauma and back pain. X-ray of the lumbar spine in the frontal and sagittal views demonstrate deformity and loss of height of the L4 vertebral body (arrow). Axial and sagittal reconstructions of CT scan better demonstrate the burst fracture of the L4 vertebral body.
