Nonaccidental Trauma

Note
Subdural hematomas of differeing age are present bilaterally and the calvarium is expanded with open sutures. This child was ultimately shown to have posterior rib fractures and retinal hemorrhages. The constellation of findings is highly suspicious for nonaccidental trauma.
