Diagnosis
Fatty infiltration of the pancreatic head
Note
MRI images demonstrate a heterogeneously enhancing mass in the anterior mediastinum with extension upwards towards the thoracic inlet. While a specific diagnosis is not possible based on imaging alone, this turned out to represent a thymoma in a middle-aged female patient.
