Acute cholecystitis
Note
US, CT, and MRI images demonstrate a thickened gallbladder wall with several areas of ulceration, adjacent fat stranding, and possibly areas of discontinuities within the wall itself. This was found to represent gangrenous cholecystitis at surgery.
