Etiology:

  • Trauma
  • Can be spontaneous

Epidemiology:

  • Median age is 45
  • Slightly more common in males
  • Vasculitis

Presentation:

  • Stroke
  • Face/eye pain
  • Headache
  • Neck pain

Prognosis:

  • Most patients fully recover
