Scan Comments: A flash spiral mode can be used to improve scan speed and limit breathing artifact if the patient is short of breath. If IV contrast is warranted, venous phase imaging is routinely performed using a scan delay based on the patient’s age, weight, and body habitus. All scans are performed using the ALARA principle.
