My background has been one of lifelong entrepreneurship. I think of entrepreneurship with reverence—it is a mentality of not giving up in the pursuit of an ambitious goal. We can do positive things with entrepreneurship. But can it be a force for good? I believe it can, but I am sure there are people with very different points of view about entrepreneurship and business. It pains me when people are cynical about business, although there have been many cases of businesses acting against the broader interests of society. Some people will view entrepreneurship and business as evil, and others will see this as a driver of the economy, a job creator, and a font of innovation. Through the lens of my experiences in founding multiple companies, I hope to convey the potential of entrepreneurship to be a force for good.
