Risk factors for vasculopathy range from prolonged immobilization to hypercoagulability syndromes, trauma, and malignancy. This chapter illustrates the different imaging options for the diagnosis of acute vasculopathy and to assess the value of interventional strategies in an emergency setting. Recent advances in imaging technology have enabled us to utilize a range of diagnostic approaches to better characterize vascular pathologies. This review summarizes the signs in diagnosis, indications for treatment, and endovascular strategies in patients with symptoms.
