Greetings Dr. Fishman
I am a radiologist at a medium sized urban hospital outside Toronto. Our current CT scanner (Philips 16 slice) is over 8 years old. We are getting a new CT scanner (GE 750 without VEO) and I am looking at CT conferences to refresh my knowledge in general body and neuro imaging, but also to assist me in designing new protocols with particular emphasis in newer dose reduction opportunities and techniques.
I'm wondering if you can offer your advice regarding the two upcoming CME events in which you are participating: CT 2012: National Symposium (in Florida) and CT Bootcamp 2012 (in Las Vegas). I have read brochures for both conferences. Can you provide any additional information regarding the content or emphasis at these events and your opinion regarding which might be more suitable for my needs?
thanks,
Andy Myers

Although both conferences are great the one that I believe is tailored to your needs is the CT Bootcamp 2012 mtg in Las Vegas. It will focus alot on protocols and the how to's of CT including dose reduction. Hope to see you in sunny Las Vegas at the mtg

Thanks very much for the advice.
What is the goal of the Hands-on Workstation Training Sessions?
