History:

Indeterminate renal lesion; follow-up percutaneous ablation

Surview:

Above diaphragm to lesser trochanters

 

Oral Contrast:

Water  500mL - 20 minutes prior

IV Contrast:

100mL Omnipaque 350  -  4mL/sec + 50mL saline flush

Scan

 

Non-Contrast:

Scan diaphragm to crest

Nephrogram:

Scan diaphragm to lesser trochanters

Delay:  80 seconds

Scan diaphragm to crest

NOTE:

If practical, have patient roll or sit up to mix bladder contrast

At 8 minutes, repeat scout, check for excretion

Have images checked by radiologist, may have to repeat in prone position
