  • “The glenoid labrum is visualized in cross section as a triangular structure, although its configuration varies considerably. The base is attached to the peripheral edge of the glenoid fossa and hyaline cartilage, and the apex projects laterally. The normal glenoid labrum has a variety of shapes, sizes, and attachments.   • “In patients who have undergone shoulder surgery, MDCT arthrography has been found to be substantially more accurate than nonar thrographic MRI . MDCT arthrography depicted postoperative rotator cuff and capsular-labral complex abnormalities with sensitivity of 92–94% and accuracy of 89–96%. The diagnostic performance of MRI of these patients was substantially lower with sensitivity of 19–25% and accuracy of 21–29% ”
