Truncus Arteriosus
The illustration demonstrates the common trunk supplying the ascending aorta as well as the branch pulmonary arteries. Note, the arch interruption distal to the left subclavian artery (type A interruption). The right subclavian artery originates from the right pulmonary artery and embryologically, the origin represents the right sided ductus. (Click to enlarge)
